TEEN WORKSHOP Ages 13-18: An intensive program incorporating Acting, Musical Theater and Dance. All three disciplines are offered in one extended class on Sundays. Advanced dance students may opt out of the dance portion of the program. Each semester culminates in a public showcase. This class is excellent preparation for the Summer Teen Workshop/NYC Showcase.

COMEDY IMPROV FOR "TWEENS" AGES 10-13: Hold onto your seats, ATC's Beth Baur is going to tickle your funny bones with this great new class! Improvisation builds upon the basic principles of acting while combining quick thinking and spontaneity. Using theatre games to illustrate the rules of improvisation, Beth will teach students the art of comedy and how to incorporate it into their acting. The last session will be an open class for students to show what they've learned.

Prerequisite: one semester of either Children's Conservatory Theatre, the Teen's Workshop or Intro to Acting.
SUMMER WORKSHOP: Once again 20 talented teens (ages 13 - 18) and 20 terrific kids (ages 9 -12) will be given the opportunity to perform in New York City! This program provides training in acting, musical theatre and dance, while preparing the students for the NYC showcase. Last year's showcase saw over ONE HALF of the participants contacted by agents, managers and/or casting directors.

CHILDREN'S CONSERVATORY THEATRE Ages 9-12:
A performing arts program specifically designed for this age group. This class offers training in acting, musical theater and dance. All three disciplines are offered in one extended class on Saturdays.. Each semester culminates in an open class/showcase. This class is excellent preparation for the Summer Kids Workshop/NYC Showcase.

At Action Theatre Conservatory, the classes are FUN and give students a firm foundation and knowledge of the theatrical tools needed in acting, musical theatre and dance. Each program culminates in an open class where the students are given an opportunity to perform in front of family and friends.
